Sustainability

The persistent goal of our efforts is the conservation and reuse of resources, the reduction of carbon emissions, and the promotion of sustainable development. We prioritize the environment, carefully selecting responsible suppliers and setting high standards for the environmental indicators of each paper type. We were early advocates of the concept of recycled environmental protection, guiding and educating the market. We also champion the concept of organic environmental protection, advocating for papers that can naturally degrade and compost. We believe that the balance between human development and the preservation of nature determines our future.

Sustainability

Environmental sustainability is one of the key issues of discussion and concern in the 21st century. Paper, being a natural product, can contribute to ensuring environmental sustainability through responsible use, reuse, and disposal methods.
Established in 1993, the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC®) was initiated by representatives from wood users, traders, environmental, and human rights organizations. FSC promotes ecologically, socially, and economically responsible management of the world's forests.
FSC's chain-of-custody certification enables consumers and companies to trace the origin of raw materials to the manufactured product, ensuring responsible sourcing.
We solemnly pledge to provide only regulated and sustainable eco-friendly paper, ensuring a responsible value chain. We are committed to striving for and upholding a habitable home for humanity.

Recycled

In recent years, global climate change has been proven to be a result of excessive deforestation and environmental degradation. We advocate for forest conservation, reducing logging, and producing 100% recycled paper by effectively using recycled waste paper as pulp. We have introduced a full range of high-quality recycled papers, providing customers with a proactive and environmentally friendly choice.
Giving new life to waste paper is a crucial step in keeping the air we breathe clean every day. Paper recycling fosters plant and animal communities, promotes biodiversity, protects forests, and reduces the concentration of harmful greenhouse gases that contribute to global warming. Unusual climate changes alter seasons beyond recognition; we witness spring blossoming in winter, summer drying up the spring, autumn losing its colors, and winter melting ice caps. By using our 100% recycled paper, we allow seasons to continue with their recognizable, vibrant brilliance. We offer the most comprehensive range of 100% recycled paper, from white, black, to colored, from thin sheets to thick cards (80gsm to 3.8mm).
All recycled papers carry FSC Recycled and/or Blue Angel certifications.

New fibres

How to reduce forest loss and tree felling is a topic that our generation needs to carefully consider and actively address. In recent years, Europeans have proposed an organic environmental protection approach: using 100% physical methods to turn easily grown grass, which does not impact environmental changes, into grass pulp to replace wood pulp. This has given rise to the increasingly popular "grass-scented paper" in Europe.
The production of grass pulp significantly reduces energy consumption and minimizes environmental impact:
Water savings by 99.9%
Energy savings by approximately 97%
75% reduction in carbon dioxide emissions
Elimination of 100% chemical usage

Additionally, grass pulp contains rich amino acids and proteins, allowing it to naturally compost at home. It also serves as a natural food-grade paper.

Environmental Protection & Health

In China, paper production is widely criticized as a highly polluting industry due to the lack of effective measures to address the wastewater, emissions, and waste generated in the papermaking process. Some mills even use chemical methods to produce grass pulp, severely contaminating underground water sources, leading to the closure of millions of tons of domestic paper production enterprises in the past 15 years due to pollution issues.
The European paper mills we represent have a rich history spanning over a century. By implementing active and stringent environmental management systems and setting standards exceeding official regulations, these mills protect water sources, actively reduce ecological footprints, minimize energy and water consumption, waste, and carbon emissions. Many mills achieve carbon neutrality through environmental measures, and some contribute energy and heat to communities through the recycling of waste.
Paper, as a material for printing and packaging, is one of the most widely used materials by humans, especially in the food and pharmaceutical industries. Therefore, understanding the hygiene of paper is crucial for human health.
Our papers undergo strict selection of raw materials, scientific control of the production process, and rigorous testing of finished products. They are universally certified by third-party testing agencies in the EU and around the world, ensuring users can trustfully use our paper.

Paper vs. Plastic

Plastic, once considered one of humanity's greatest inventions, has become a significant global threat due to its excessive use, casual disposal, and the difficulties in its degradation, leading to what is now known as "white pollution."
Plastic, once considered one of humanity's greatest inventions, has become a significant global threat due to its excessive use, casual disposal, and the difficulties in its degradation, leading to what is now known as "white pollution."
Paper, as an important material to replace plastic, has met the requirements of replacing plastic in both physical and critical functionalities with the development of paper production technology. In terms of functionalities like packaging boxes and bags, high-strength paper can fully replace coated products or plastic bags.
For critical functionalities like oxygen and moisture barriers, odor resistance, and oil resistance, recent years have seen the development of functional coatings on paper to achieve plastic-like properties.
Many regions globally have introduced phased plastic bans, and major brands are actively following suit. To preserve a habitable Earth environment and provide a planet free from "white pollution" for the next generation, we need to put in more effort.

FSC (Forest Stewardship Council)

FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) FSC is an international non-profit, multi-stakeholder organization established in 1993 with the aim of promoting responsible forest management worldwide. FSC is committed to improving forest management globally to ensure the best social and environmental practices. It directly benefits forests by promoting biodiversity, the rights of local communities, workers' rights, and the protection of critical environmental and cultural areas.

Blue Angel The

Blue Angel is an impartial and voluntary product label independent of commercial interests. It is a Type I environmental label based on the international standard DIN ISO 14024 "Environmental labels and declarations." According to a survey by the German Environmental Agency, the Blue Angel is a highly recognized brand with 90% awareness. 23% of consumers acknowledge that the Blue Angel influences their purchasing decisions. Blue Angel certification ensures that paper fibers are 100% sourced from recycled paper, protecting forests by eliminating the need to cut down trees. It also guarantees that no harmful chemicals or fluorescent brighteners are added during the manufacturing process.

Chlorine-Free Bleaching (ECF)

The ECF symbol ensures that paper is produced without the use of elemental chlorine or chlorine compounds to bleach wood pulp, preventing the formation of dioxins and highly carcinogenic pollutants.

pH Neutral

The pH neutral symbol indicates the neutral state of the paper, usually determined by an acid-free production process.

Permanent ISO 9706/Acid-Free

The permanent preservation symbol is based on the ISO 9706 standard, and the pH value is calculated based on water extract between 7.5 and 10 and an alkaline reserve (buffering solution) greater than 2%.

Heavy Metals Free 94/62/CE

This symbol certifies that the product complies with CE 94/62 "Heavy Metal Content in Packaging." The directive defines the maximum content of heavy metals such as cadmium, chromium, mercury, and lead

U Toy Safety Standard

This symbol represents a series of specific technical requirements and specifications set by CEN (European Committee for Standardization) for toy safety directive 2009/48/EC (formerly 88/378/EEC).

Recyclable

This indicates that the product can be further recycled.。

Contains Natural Cotton

This symbol indicates that the product contains natural cotton as one of its raw materials. If labeled 100%, it means the material is 100% natural cotton.

Biodegradable and Compostable Certification

This symbol is awarded by the EU based on testing standards for biodegradable materials. The OK Compost certification is granted after testing by AIB-Vincotte Group.
